Kuwait Leave Balance Calculator
Estimate a simple pro-rata leave balance based on the annual leave allowance you enter, months worked and days already taken.
How this tool works
Estimate accrued annual leave in Kuwait using your annual allowance, months worked and leave already used. Enter your own values to generate an estimate. Results are informational and may not reflect your exact legal entitlement, provider quote or personal circumstances.
Important note

Frequently asked questions
Is every worker entitled to the same leave?
Not necessarily. Contract terms, eligibility, employment category and applicable law may affect entitlement. Verify your circumstances with official guidance.
How the pro-rata estimate works
The calculator uses this simple planning formula: annual allowance × months in the accrual period ÷ 12, minus leave days already used. For example, an allowance of 30 days over 6 months gives 15 estimated days; after 3 days already taken, the estimated balance is 12 days.
Enter the allowance that applies to your own contract or HR record. The tool does not decide your legal entitlement and does not automatically include carry-over, special leave, public holidays, company policy or adjustments made by payroll. Compare the result with the balance confirmed by your employer and ask for the accrual period and deductions if the figures differ.
Check the balance against your records
Compare the estimate with your employer's leave statement, approved leave dates and attendance records. The result can differ if your contract, work schedule, unpaid leave or applicable legal category changes the calculation. Keep a copy of leave approvals and payslips in case you need to reconcile a balance.
Before requesting leave
- Confirm whether the balance is shown in working days or calendar days.
- Check how weekly rest days and public holidays are treated.
- Ask whether the employer has a written carry-over or scheduling policy.
- For a legal entitlement question, verify the current rule with the competent Kuwait authority.
This calculator is an estimate and does not access your employer's HR records.
