Kuwait Loan EMI Calculator

Work out the monthly instalment, total interest and total repayment on a personal, car or other loan in Kuwaiti dinars. Choose reducing-balance or flat-rate interest to match the way your bank quotes the offer.

How this calculator works

Reducing-balance loans charge interest every month on the amount you still owe, using the standard EMI formula. Flat-rate loans charge interest on the original amount for the whole term, so the instalment is the loan plus total interest divided by the number of months. Ask your bank which method its quoted rate uses, because the same percentage costs noticeably more as a flat rate.

Before you sign

Compare the total repayment, not only the monthly instalment. Insurance, early-settlement charges and your bank's own eligibility and affordability checks are not included, and a processing fee is counted only if you enter one. Treat the result as an estimate and confirm every figure with your bank. See also the budget planner and the debt payoff calculator.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between reducing-balance and flat rate?

With a reducing-balance rate, interest is charged on the outstanding balance, which falls as you repay. With a flat rate, interest is charged on the full original amount for the whole term, so the effective cost is higher than the same percentage on a reducing balance.

Will this match my bank's offer exactly?

Not necessarily. Banks can differ in rounding, fees, insurance and how they calculate interest. Use this tool to compare offers, then ask your bank for its full repayment schedule.
