Kuwait Car Ownership Cost Calculator
Fuel is only one part of the cost of driving. Add your own monthly expenses to estimate your total cost of ownership in Kuwait.
How to use this estimate
Estimates exclude depreciation unless you add it under other costs. Actual insurance, maintenance and registration expenses depend on your vehicle and policy.

Important notes
Are these official fees or quotes?
No. This is a planning tool based on the figures you enter; it is not a government, school or insurance quote.
Do not enter personal identifiers or Civil ID numbers into this tool. The values you enter are calculated in your browser and are not sent to a server.
Costs to include before buying
Use recent fuel spending and service invoices rather than a best-case estimate. Add annual insurance, registration and inspection costs as monthly equivalents, and allow for tyres, battery, parking, washing and occasional repairs. If you finance the vehicle, include the monthly instalment and check the total repayment cost separately. Depreciation and the cost of replacing the car are not automatically included, so add an allowance if you want a broader ownership estimate.
Look beyond the purchase price
The real cost of owning a car includes recurring and occasional expenses. Add insurance, registration, fuel, parking, servicing, tyres, repairs and any finance payment. If you are comparing two cars, use the same annual distance and ownership period for both estimates.
Before buying or renewing
- Check the vehicle's service history and inspection condition.
- Ask what the insurance policy excludes and what excess applies.
- Allow for tyres, battery and scheduled maintenance, not just fuel.
- Compare total annual cost with public transport, taxis or car sharing if those are realistic options.
Actual costs depend on the vehicle, driver, insurer and usage. The calculator is a planning aid, not a quote.
